Customer Service Professional

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers developing new and fostering existing relationships. 
  • Act as first point of contact placing, monitoring, and tracking customer orders.
  • Schedule delivery appointments for direct & indirect orders and communicate with warehouse and customers accordingly.   
  • Quote and generate Purchase Orders.
  • Manage vendor cost changes and updates, internally and with customers. 
  • Communicate with customers to understand needs and find the best possible solutions to customer concerns.
  • Arrange freight, scheduling, delivery of inbound stock from vendors.
  • Maintain proper record retention on all receiving, sales orders, deliveries, and routing. 
  • Replenishment planning: demand forecasting, lead time forecasting, order frequency analysis, service level analysis.
  • Analyze inventory needs and place purchase orders accordingly for general and customer dedicated stock.
  • Recommends changes in process and procedures based on customer feedback.
  • Use product, market, and functional knowledge in combination with company processes, procedures, and applications to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong planning, organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Desire to learn and provide the best possible experience for our customers.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
  • Fundamental knowledge of PC Applications.
