Administrative Assistant
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors
- Answer phones
- Enter sales orders
- Expediting
- PO Acknowledgements
- Scheduling delivery of Incoming PO’s
- UPS/FEDEX samples
- Assist with vendor quotes, stock checks
- New customer and item set up
- Invoice follow up
- Filing and retention
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail.
- Scan and electronically file customer invoices
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Schedule and coordinate staff and other meetings
- Write and edit documents, letters, reports and instructional documents.
- Making travel arrangements
- Order supplies
- Event Planning
Requirements
- Must have intermediate level knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Projects a professional image by meeting First Packaging dress code standards.
- Ability to communicate in a clear, positive and professional manner with customers, employees and vendors.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and professional demeanor when interacting with customers, employees and vendors.
- Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks and consistently produce high-quality accurate work.
- Team player attitude.
- Strong customer service orientation.
